Sleep screens on the stock firmware

Stock firmware on the Xteink X4, X4 Pro and X3: which files work (.bmp), the /sleep/ folder on the SD card, and the menu that turns custom sleep screens on.

Settings → Display → Sleep screen → Custom
  1. 1 Turn the reader off and take out the SD card (or connect it by USB).
  2. 2 Create a folder named "sleep" at the root of the card, if it does not exist.
  3. 3 Copy your .bmp files into it. The size must match your model exactly.
  4. 4 Put the card back and choose Settings → Display → Sleep screen → Custom.

Stock firmware does not read .pxc files.

Some guides use ".sleep" instead of "sleep". If your images do not show, rename the folder.
